Has a thick pile of documentation. Has original invoice, finance contract, protect-o-plate and manuals. Over $24,987 was spent restoring the car in 1997, has receipts. Also has maintenance receipts after the restoration. Very desirable triple black, factory air and bucket seats with console.
EXTERIOR: Special ordered Ebony black, typically available only on the Toronado in 1968. Body was restored and repainted in 1997, still shows very well. Has a glossy, straight finish with minor flaws. Chrome and trim also are not perfect but bright and shiny. Black convertible top is excellent, has glass window.
INTERIOR: Interior overall is in very good condition. It does he have desirable factory bucket seats and a center console. The instrument area, heater controls, vents, knobs all look real nice. There are some cracks on top of the dash pad. Door panels, carpet, upholstery are real nice. Has some minor wear on driver's side seat welting.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 350 was completely rebuilt at time of restoration. Runs smooth. Upgraded with an aluminum Performance Olds intake and HEI ignition system. Carburetor was rebuilt, alternator was replaced. Everything looks properly installed and hooked up- a wiring, wiper motor, washer bottle etc. Air conditioning system is complete, needs a new compressor.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Restored solid metal with a gray and aqua trunk spatter finish. It does have complete jack and spare. Also includes a car cover. Bottom of the trunk lid is painted glossy and has trunk light.
UNDERSIDE: Front end was rebuilt. Bottom of motor is clean and painted, starter looks new. Has Super Turbine automatic and original 12 bolt posi rear. Has dual exhaust system. New rear shocks. Floors look to be solid original.
