| Up for auction is a beautiful 1969 Opel GT with 1. 9L motor. Weber carb and automatic transmission. It appears to be a low mileage car. (the odometer shows only 53. 46 miles). It has a maroon exterior with beautiful red interior. We’ve had this car up in the air and it’s in beautiful condition throughout. Even the original rear tail strip is still intact. The hood still has the original line that goes from the windshield down to the original Blitz nose emblem. Amazing belly pan and even the original battery tray is still intact Original California black plates both front and rear. It also has a clean California title. The car has 4 original 4 hole Opel rims with original chrome GT center caps and optional chrome beauty rings. It appears that the front bumper has been re-chromed. The Weber carb has been rebuilt and runs great. The head gasket was leaking oil from the front so a new head gasket set was installed. It has had a light valve job and a basic gasket reseal on the top of the engine along with a valve adjustment and tuneup. The car runs great and idles well. It is currently tagged and in drive away condition. . We picked this one up at the 2014 Opel October Feast In Perris California. This is a great running and driving car in very nice indoor stored condition. This is one of those special clean cars that still has an amazing condition interior and still has that new car smell. We’ve bought and sold a lot of cars in the last 32 years and this one is one of those rare gems in the top 5% of cars that we’ve seen. Deals like this one only come around about once every 10 years.
