Description of 1973 Opel Manta

Here i have now up for sale is my own personal car, my 1973 Opel Manta. I am the second owner and i have had it since the summer of 2011. it had just under 25,000 when i got it and now has a little over 31,000. it was bought new in Illinois by the first owner as a second car for the wife (hence the auto transmission) and was eventually traded into a small dealer in iowa who ended up keeping it in his garage. he eventually closed his business but still kept the car in the garage for many years until health reasons which forced him to sell. so i bought it and got it back on the road. and overall its been a fairly reliable car. the longest trip was to Kansas City and back. anyways its been a cool car to have and you just dont see these ever. overall as a whole the car is in decent original condition for its age. even the 1973 federally mandated seatbelt buzzers still work! the body is very straight with only small dings and dents. never has been repainted anywhere. it has very little rust. the bottom of both rear quarter panels is just starting to rust out as well as a small spot in the spare tire area and a small spot under the battery. the one thing that should be fixed at the very least before serious driving can be done is fixing the area of the unibody frame rail where the sub frame bolts to, as just like pretty much every manta ever they all rust out there! so i've been only driving it locally the last 2 years and i was going to repair it myself but now i just dont have time for it as i got a 48 chevy truck and 2 55 bel airs im dealing with which now take up all my time so id rather see it go to good home and get fixed up and used now rather then let it sit till some day long ways away to get to fixing it. i have all the paper work from when it was new including the build sheet. i believe the rear tires are original. a 4 headlights are original. i have an original radio for it and the original air cleaner though i had to replace the original solex like everyone else has with a webber 32/36. this would be one of the easiest ones to fully restore if you so choose to. heres a video of it driving https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlYLU2zEYkw it does 70 really easy and ive had it up to 90. so anyways if you got any questions just ask. this will be a no reserve auction with a reasonable starting bid, so whatever it goes for is what it goes for. international buyers welcome. $500 with in 24 hours and the rest within a week.
