The Cadillac Eldorado that was produced in the early 70's was an icon of American affluence and success. The 1971 Eldorado was in our opinion, ne of the best looking of them all complementing an already attractive look with the extended rear lights and decorative chrome to the rear of each door. The interiors were made in real leather and the car had all the options exuding luxury and a sense of accomplishment. Also, he 1971 was the second to last year that had an engine installed that produced 365hp.
Today, e are offering a 1971 Cadillac Eldorado convertible which has its original carpets, nterior and the original drivetrain. Loaded with options, e have PS/PB/PW as well as Power Locks, Power Top and Air Conditioning. The frame for the top has a couple of issues that will require looking at but the top is operational with assistance.
We can find no evidence of any bodywork but we think the car has been repainted at some point. It is clean underneath with nothing more than the expected surface rust that you can see from the pictures provided. Everything in the car is in working order with the exception of the AC and the top issue.
These cars are the talk of the town when you drive up and park; no matter where you are, 1971 Eldorado convertible stands out. The motor is the 500 cid V8 coupled to a three speed automatic transmission.
