Description of 1928 Other Makes Hudson Super Six Murphy Body

1928 Hudson, uper Six, door original car, nside and out. This car has been stored inside and not run since 1961. We have owned it about 10 years, tored inside, nd feel that it deserves a good home. This is an aluminum car, ody by Murphy of Pasadena, alifornia, nd has a Landau roof. Condition of the roof is fair, as some rips, utdoesn't leak. The body, n general, s in good solid condition, s well as the running board and bumpers. Twoof the fenders have had some body work, eally no major dents. There is general surface rust and one rust hole near Murphy Bodyplaque.
Madame X window frames, oors open "suicide style" from the center post. This design was developed by Hudson.Tires are good, ith wooden spokes and aluminum hubs. Also has spare tire. Back bumper is not connected but is there.
Interior is the original grey green mohair, t is in fair condition. It is not ripped or wet, ust pulling apart. There are no mats or carpet. Has all the dashboard gauges, he gasoline gauge has come apart, ut would go back into position easily. Has key and heater, ith one vacuum wiper. All grab handles are broken except one.
Motor is free, ut has not run since 1961 and is complete. Should run
Steering wheel shear pin is broken
