Was originally black and came from anew jersey chevrolet dealer who had a warehouse full of old cars he took in on trade and kept. My father's buddy bought the entire lot and sold this one to my dad; thiswas the late 60s. Painted as a cab in the early 70s and used in many movies and advertisements around the nyc area, car has very little rust for being 78 years old. Has not run in about 30 years so it needs lots of TLC but is complete and original. Engine turns by hand. The plates are original NYC taxi plates from 1938; plates beginning with a zero represented taxi cabs.
