Description of 1973 Other Makes GT40 MK15

Hello, Up for reluctant sale is my beloved Ford GT-40 MK15 GULF replica. I am not desperate, as a lot of time and money has gone into her this last winter to make her a turn key, road worthy, legal, and safe. I found it in SoCal at an estate sale, the owners father knew little about it, other than his son had it stored inside their garage for many years and well kept- it was started only a few times a year. I have two video links off my FB page for your viewing pleasure. This motor is rock solid, HP modified, and was started for the first time, in a long time, last November. It rumbled to life instantly and purrs like a kitten with great oil pressure. I have to take a new path in life in August and will no longer have my garage space available for it, this is the ONLY reason she is offered. My BIN price is a bargain, and exactly what I have invested to date. She only needs new LED lights wiring finished(labor only-All wiring is there), Keyed ignition($40.00), and side window Plexiglas if desired( Est $250.00), and interior(if desired). This will ONLY be offered once, or she will go back into storage elsewhere until time allocates. LOW RESERVE. Fires up first time-Every time. STRONG RUNNER VERY RARE GULF THEMED MK15 GT-40. LOADS OF MONEY WENT INTO ITS RESURECTION THIS PAST YEAR. NO DISSAPOINTMENTS. RUNS FANTASTIC WITH ZERO LEAKS OR ISSUES. CLEAR TITLE. A RARE FIND. Mileage will slightly go up this week, as it might be the last time I drive her. Clear title. Ebay no longer allows URLs in the description for some reason. Please go to Erik Olson on Facebook in Colorado Springs, its worth it. You don't hear many replicas that sound like this... :) Heres a short list of what was done over the past winter: Custom air cleaner and pop panel on rear deck lid Rebuilt brakes all 4 corners Custom wheel adapters and spacers Newer racing oil cooler installed 17" tires and wheels replicating the 73 lemans race car Replaced all rubber oil and fuel lines Lowered the car to 39 inches Custom 5 gallon fuel cell New 5 year battery in mounting tray. Custom seats Modified steering shaft and angle Completely rebuilt carburetor, intake, and ignition system Custom new body mounts as the originals were junk Many hours in work making everything from the pedals to the doors operate properly after sitting for years. It feels like your driving a rocket ship even at 15 mph when your behind the wheel.
