Mileage says "999999" since EBAY forces you to enter a value. I don't know what the mileage is. The odometer says "14087" which my guess is that is what the guy who restored it set to. I've put about 3000 miles on it, which~2500 of that was my drive from TX to WA 2-3 years ago.
I bought it from a guy in NJ ~7 years ago who had restored it. Has been a great truck. Lift gate works great and has large footprint when it folds out. I've lifted many heavy bulky items with the lift gate and it really makes it a very useful and versatile truck. I had it fully serviced ~2.5 years ago (including all new tires) before I drove it from TX to WA.
Service last year:
- New clutch, throwout bearing with pressure plate resurfaced.
- Full inspection which passed.
- Transmission fully inspected/serviced
Lift gate has three ways to control:
1. Control box on side which is fully operational
2. Foot controls on the deck. I haven't been able to use them, but never checked into why.
3. Hand held corded control. Needs new cord, it had worked until the rubber cord covering cracked and fell apart due to age. I imagine they aren't too expensive too replace.
The truck has fully serviced AC before I left TX, but haven't had it operational yet. I think it just needs the 12V hooked up. I was out of time when I left TX and couldn't finish it, however, new compressor etc.....
As I mentioned earlier, I drove it ~2300 miles from TX to WA last year. It drove like a champ!
Dimensions (approximate, based upon my tape measure)
Overall Length: ~31'Height: 11'4" (stacks to ground)Box: Exterior Length 21' 4" Width 8' Interior Length 19' Width 7'5" Lift gate: Deep 6'4" Width 7' 10"
There are some paint/cosmetic issues which I've tried to capture in the pictures:- Peeling paint above front bumper, trailer corner tops- Before I left TX, had a guy repair some pealing paint on cowl section. His work didn't take and you can see some cracking/pealing and his paint wasn't a good match). - Cab could use a minor buff out. Would be simple to get the hood to shine up.
