Description of 1967 Other Makes Morris Minor Pickup

I am offering for sale a very original RARE LHD (left hand drive. USA delivered). good running and driving 1967 Morris Minor Pickup . one prior repaint in original Almond green color. paint is shiny. very few nicks/chips. New tan canvas bed cover from England which can be folded back or removed totally from the vehicle if desired for moving large items. Good chrome. nice clean interior with brown vinyl seat upholstery as originally fitted. New exhaust. electric SU fuel pump. new original type sun visors. newer stock 4 wheel drum brakes (8" front. 7 "rear). good tires. Vehicle is fitted with original size 1098cc BMC '' A "" Series. 4 cylinder motor. rated at 48 HP. which allows reasonable highway use at speed. Motor runs smooth. transmission is 4 speed manual that shifts fine thru all gears and the clutch is smooth as well. Please note that all Morris cars are synchromesh on the top 3 gears only. All lights. horn. heater and wipers are in working condition. Unlike the Morris Minor passenger cars which have a unibody construction that is prone to rust through in numerous areas. the Morris Pickup has a separate FULL frame. The underbody photos show the frame and floors to be solid. The Morris Minor Pickup was originally sold in very limited quantities typically by special order thru BMC (British Motor Corporation) MG (Morris Garage) and Austin Healey dealerships in the USA. Furthermore. 1967 represents the last year that Morris vehicles were imported into the USA by BMC. This Morris Pickup is a great advertising vehicle for a small antique business. flower shop. auto repair or parts sales. etc. It has a functional bed and tailgate. nbsp;600 pound rated load capacity per BMC. The canvas top bed cover can be removed if you are hauling a large item. or folded open if desired. There is excellent parts availability for the Morris as it shares drivetrain components with MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite. There is also an active national Morris Minor Registry. with bi-monthly newsletter. nbsp;various commercial advertisers. etc. I will include a Factory Parts manual. Owner's handbook and list of parts suppliers to the new owner. Actual mileage is NOT verified as I have not owned since new and therefore cannot document mileage.
