Description of 1967 Pontiac GTO

Warehouse find! My project car that has been mostly disassembled but never restored. Losing storage space... time to sell and let her go to someone who can put in the time and $$$ to bring her back. In storage for over 30 years. Non air conditioned 400cid 335 HP Turbo 400 transmission. YS motor. 670 Heads. Car is in primer but original paint combination was maroon with black top and black interior. Shell needs trunk pan and the floor pan under rear seat. One rear quarter panel has been previously replaced. Quarter panels have some rust spots, dings, minor creases, and lower rust damage (under where trim goes), but overall very straight and repairable.

Includes (as pictured) Numbers matching original engine and drive train with less than 70k original miles, original 355 limited slip 10 bolt rear axle, solid frame, body shell, rolling chassis w/ suspension, steering gearbox, linkage, steering column, and convertible top frame. Also includes straight front and rear bumper with surface rust. Car ran (Strong!) when I parked it in the 1980's. I would definitely recommend disassembling the engine, cleaning, and replacing all fluids before trying to start it back up but I'll leave that up to the buyer to assess. No head or engine work has ever been done to this to my knowledge.

Included but not pictured: Clear Ohio title with 69,000 odometer reading. Rust free hood and deck lid. Rust free doors. Straight front fenders with minor rust (small holes behind where the stainless steel rocker moldings cover). Front wheel wells and core support (surface rust only). Front steel "beak" (new) Rear tail light panel (new). (Panels described as rust free may have some minor surface rust. everything has been in primer and stored for many years).

This ad is a work in progress. I'll post additional pictures and info as I am able. Feel free to email me with any questions. Car is currently in Dayton, Ohio at a body shop warehouse.

Note 1/22/19: I've revised the price to include an extensive parts collection for this car. Well worth it for anyone who doesn't plan on using a donor car. I'll gladly negotiate back down if you already have your donor and don't need the parts collection as I'm actually better off to part them out separately. I'll be working on a list and pictures as I dig things out of storage areas and get the whole lot in one place.

Thanks for looking.
