Description of 1965 International Harvester Other

This is an extremely unique. one of a kind. International Pickup. We started by repairing the floor boards with welded in steel panels. This was followed by new carpet and a newly-upholstered custom seat. We then re-wired the cab/instruments from scratch. We installed all new gages. including new speedometer. and ammeter in place of the original volt meter. We installed a new alternator. new battery. and a custom front bumper. Most notable on this truck is the custom flat bed that has been hand fabricated and installed in place of the original step side bed. We removed the bed and had it sand blasted. primed. and coated with black bed liner paint. We then mounted diamond plate on the top of the bed and a diamond plate toolbox for that custom look. The rest of the body and the rear fenders were painted white. We installed a NOS windshield and windshield seal. We installed a mid-80's Chevrolet rear end and subsequently mounted all new MB Motoring Custom Wheels front and rear. with new P235/75-15 Prodigy H/T Tires. The transmission is the original 3 on the tree manual. The engine is the original 6 cylinder 3. 9L International truck (or tractor ) engine. We had the carburetor remanufactured and installed a manual choke. The truck starts first time every time. There is ample room in the engine compartment for a Small Block Chevy V8. When purchased. the truck was equipped with an early 70's under dash air conditioning system. That system is complete. but we have not charged it with Freon at this time. This truck would make a great parade vehicle. or LOGO truck for your automotive. real estate. construction. or hardware business. It is a real eye-catcher!
