Description of 1992 Other Makes

Vehicle Details

This auction features a 1992 Cadillac Fleetwood hearse made to resemble the ECTO as seen in the 2016 movie "Ghostbusters".  This vehicle spreads joy wherever it goes.  Perfect for Ghostbuster fan clubs.  It is a 1992 Cadillac Fleetwood hearse.  It has less than 50,000 original miles.  Before becoming an ECTO, this car lived as a working hearse in Pennsylvania.  The car runs fine.  It has a new battery and muffler.  The gas tank has some surface rust.  The auction includes a new replacement gas tank that I purchased, but never installed.  I tried putting a backseat in the hearse, but it clearly was not designed for one.  The backseat I installed sits too high so riders hit their head on the ceiling.  The back seat is easily removed.  The front seats show signs of wear including some rips and tears.  The revolving yellow light on the top has stopped revolving.  It comes on yellow but needs some work to revolve again.  The back emergency lights on the top work find when connects to a car battery.  One of the speakers on the roof works.  You can connect your smart phone or other audio source to play the Ghostbusters theme song as you head down a parade route.  The vehicle has a clean West Virginia title and is on the road registered and titled as an antique vehicle.  West Virginia does not require the car to pass a state inspection as an antique vehicle. The car is sold as is with no guarantee or warranty of any kind.  Buyer must arrange to pickup the vehicle.  I think a nearby buyer could easily drive the car home, but I would probably not drive the car across country.  After all it is a 30 year old car.  Seller will accept Ebay's Escrow payment or a cashier's check.  Seller will not accept a personal check or cash.  Buyer must pay for the vehicle in full within 7 days and must arrange pickup of the vehicle within two weeks of the end of the auction or the seller will consider the sale null and void.
