Description of 1952 Other Makes Super Station Wagon |
| This is a 1954 Crosley "Super" Station wagon which is fairly complete but needs entire restoration. It has the unique airplane propeller front end and the "Barn Door" rear door opening which has a factory latch which works well. It has an engine and transmission and is all installed as it appears to be. The muffler and tail pipe etc. is all there and hooked up like it is supposed to be. I do have rear seat frames which are included but not pictured. I also have the drivers seat frame which is included but not the front passenger seat frame. The car also has the original radio and heater. It has the original three speed transmission. The front floor pans have been removed as they were rusty. The tunnel is in pretty good shape but the rest of the front pans need replaced. I am told new sheet metal can be obtained by Crosley suppliers but I am not a Crosley expert. The car rolls and steers just fine but does not run. Oh. I almost forgot I also have the chrome front window piece and rear view mirror base which mounts between the window glass. There is no glass in the vehicle. The frame and suspension is in very good condition. There are many rare parts on the vehicle which can be useful for any Crosley restoration. The car will be sold as a "parts" car with a Bill of Sale. It does not have a title as it has not run for many . any years. The overall body is in pretty good shape with the usual bumps and dings. There are a few bullet holes (7) that need repairing. The buyer will have to arrange transportation but I can assist in loading. The car needs to be removed within 15 days of the end of the sale. I could store it a little longer if prior arrangements are made. Payment can be made with PayPal for the successful bidder. Thank You |
