The original Indiana 1939 license plate has a star and a numeric 1. indicating the plate was assigned to the governor's car. That tradition is still followed. Ownership since 1963 is known. Repainted once with nearly the same original gold color. Both original front fenders were replaced with fenders that included spare tire covers by owner John Smith after 1973. 1 spare wheel / new tire included. My deceased father bought the car in May 2012 and restored it through November 2013. The restoration included a new top. tires. radiator. water pump. rear carpet. nbsp;carburetor. horn. starter. exhaust manifold. intake manifold. nbsp;fuel pump and other parts.
