Description of 1940 Packard Model 1800 122" wb (110)

1940 Packard 18th Series Model 1800 4 door sedan--I am listing this car for a friend that doesn't have time to keep up with the listing and answer any questions that might come up. Any questions may be directed to me by email and I will answer them myself or get you an answer asap and get back to you. With that being said the best thing I can say about the car is that the pictures tell the story. It is as nice and well done that it looks like in the pictures. It runs excellent, drives like a 1940 big car without any power equipment would drive. The only thing that does not work is the radio. The restoration was done approximate 10 years ago, has always been in a garage, covered, run and driven often to keep it running. The interior is as nice as the pictures show. The only people ever in the car is the owner and his wife. The chrome on the car is spotless. If I wasn't 80 years old I would own the car myself. In my opinion the car will make a great investment. Keep and care for it the way it is and it can do nothing but go up in value. The car is for sale in our local area and reserve the right to end this sale at any time. If you want to inspect the car in person and we encourage that, please give us advance notice and the car will be made available. If an offer is made and excepted a deposit of $1,000 (non-refundable) is to be made within 48 hours. The deposit can be made by pay-pal, wire transfer or cash in person. The final payment to be made within 5 days. Final payment to be made by wire-transfer or verified cashier check . I will assist with the pickup and shipping of the car and can direct a transport the best place to pickup the car. It is the buyers responsibility to make all pickup and shipping arrangements.
