Unique Features:

Torsion Bar Suspension: The 4-Wheel Torsion Bar Suspension available only on this Packard offers distinct advantages over standard coil-spring suspension, illustrated in the following situations. As a front wheel of this Packard rises on a bump, a mechanical reaction is carried to the rear wheel, distributing the shock and making for a smooth ride. Unlike all other vehicles that will pitch up during a fast take-off, and lower forward during a hard-stop, this Packard will maintain a level and even ride, and when cornering, will squat at the opposite direction of the turn for stability.

Car Load Leveler: To keep the car level when excess baggage is in the trunk or passengers enter the car, an electronic leveler system senses the weight and automatically adjusts the suspension to keep the car within 5/8 of an inch of factory level.
