1970 Plymouth Road Runner Highlights -Matching numbers Road Runner post Coupe, ot a clone, uns strong, o mechanical issues -2nd owner, n same family since 1977 -383 4bbl 335hp hi-perf, 27 Torqueflite, .23 single traction, anual steering, rum brakes all around, ingle fan belt -Partial restoration stages over the years -Approx 20 yrs old: Engine rebuild, rans rebuild, pholstery, rake job, arpet headliner, ackage tray, ires, ront suspension, hocks and paint job -Approx 5 yrs old: Alternator, adiator, istributor, ap & wires (has all correct factory plug wire holders), aster cylinder, ater pump, uel pump and re-chrome on both bumpers -Under-hood resto: nearly complete, hot Tor-Red (Hemi Orange), egan a staged restoration, tarted under-hood to do complete color change, riginal car color is Vitamin C Orange -Powder Coated: Intake manifold, alve covers, ipstick handle, ulleys, an, an spacer -New Edelbrock Carb - Performer 600cfm -Wheels are from early 70's Challenger Condition Details -Never involved in accident -Minimal rust, ll original sheet metal except trunk floor pan has been replaced, ndercarriage solid, ll original glass -Small dent right front quarter -Poor bodywork on center of hood swell, ard to see in pics -Slight dent on roof (stretched metal area), an see in pic that has blue truck in background -Hood swell bodywork & roof dent are remnants from vandalism years ago -Rust on inside trunk lid lip, s in pic -Surface rust under carpet on passenger side floor pan, ut not heavy or rusted through. Other floor pans ok. -Needs antenna base assembly clip (that secures entire antenna) -Since 1977, ar has been painted 3 times and has filler work in the usual b-body spots, .g. small areas at base of rear window, ear lower quarters. -Weatherstripping is original and in poor condition -Original chrome on smaller areas, .e. door handles and window vents, ave pitting -Instrument panel is in poor condition, eeds restoration -Usual b-body gauges - need restoration, ntermittent function & unreliable, ut speedo works -No resto work done underneath, new mufflers, ith passenger exhaust pipe replaced Thank you for your interest and bidding.
