1972 Plymouth Road Runner in "special order" TB3paint code for Petty Blue (Basin Street Blue)

This car was born a RM23H code 4 speed which makesit 1 of 329 everbuilt. Could only imagine how few were in Petty Blue.Yes this was borna 340 4 barrel car but now has a way more powerful 1969 440 4 barrel. It has its original A833 Hemi 4 speed and its 8 3/4" Sure Grip Posi rear with 3:91 gears. Power disc brakes, ower steering. Drives straight and stops on a dime. It was a bench seat car and now has buckets in the original color matching the original back seat. The interior colors as you will see are two shades of blue. As far as I can decode the body tag, t was ordered that way which decodes as medium blue and Basin Street Blue combination. This is a lightly optioned car built to get up and go. Does have the Beep Beep RR horn, ove that.

The car isvery clean. Trunk, nder hood and underneath the car show no rust at all and the factory undercoat still looks great. You can see the entire body was painted blue then the undercoat sprayed over the paint.

A few things I will mention are the dash pad must have been replaced at some time and was dyed blue and there is some black showing through ( can be seen in video). The tranny whines a bit when cold but quiets down when warmed up, ay need to be looked at although it runs and drives mint. And third the inside of the windshield just recently started steaming up a bit. I'm thinking possibly the heater core although it's not loosing any anti freeze. That's it...

Bottom line this is a killer 440 4 speed Road Runner in a color that just stops traffic.
