From it's gorgeous paint job and monster 440 engine stroked to 505 with 700HP! to it's Vintage A/C and Heat. 5-Speed Tremec and an awesome Kenwood Sound System. this Roadrunner has it all. This Custom. Modern. Pro-Street Restoration was done in 2008 and shows just 3500 miles on the odometer. No expense was spared on this great car. This was a complete. rotisserie restoration. Any areas of rust were completely repaired using new sheet metal or in the case of the trunk. an entirely new trunk pan. There are about 50 pictures documenting the restoration and showing the areas of repair. The entire uni-body was sandblasted. primed and undercoated. The paint is a "Perfect Purple" paint that is absolutely gorgeous. The restoration and paint job was performed by Pappy's Paint & Body in Magnolia. Texas on an hourly basis. Car was blocked and sanded 6 times and the paint is very slick. The car is a deep purple with slight blue metallic flakes. The car really sparkles under the light and under the sunshine. All frame pieces. interior and under hood pieces are "Perfect Purple" as well. The car was originally a 383 car but now has a 440 engine stroked to a 505 balanced roller engine. The Indy Heads and Intake were street ported with custom rocker arms which sit under a Holley 1150 Dominator. Double Pumper Carburetor with MSD ignition system and 2-1/4" headers. The fuel is delivered through 1/2" braided fuel lines (with under hood liquid pressure gauge) with a Holley 200 gallon bpm fuel pump with custom sump installed on a new factory gas tank. Car makes about 700 HP on pump gas. This great car has an extreme amount of power. lopes and sounds great. but is still tame enough for anyone to drive. The car has a 3" exhaust system which dumps underneath the car with Flowmaster mufflers. The car also has Wildwood. 4-Wheel Disc. Power Brakes slotted on the front. Magna Force K-member front end coil over conversion replacement with power steering including fully adjustable pro-street shocks all around. All K-member bracing is painted and bolted into the firewall and frame instead of welded which allows a much cleaner job. Engine also bolts to K-member bracing via a Magna Force aluminum engine plate and also high strength motor mounts. Engine cooling is delivered by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Does not overheat while driving. even with air conditioner running! Rear axle is a new. Dana 60 Strange Worm Gear Locking. 3. 73 Drag Axle on new heavy duty springs with rear sway bar and snubber. Car really hooks up! Car also has painted frame connectors. Transmission is a new. Tremec. 5-Speed standard with an internal throw-out bearing and 700HP+ assembly. This was bought as a kit made specifically for this car which makes for a very neat and clean installation. Interior of the car was put back with all new original components to keep the old school feel to it. The only alteration was an awesome custom dash using all Mopar performance gauges which fits the car nicely. Shoulder harness seatbelts were also added in the rear for children. TKO pistol grip shifter and Brunswick custom steering wheel finish off the interior. Car has Vintage Air Conditioning and Heating in good working order. The car also has a very strong sound system. It is a Kenwood CD/USB/MP3 radio with 6 speaker system and sub-woofer including two amps mounted in the trunk. The car still has its original Roadrunner "Beep-Beep" horn. The battery is mounted in the trunk in an aluminum battery box. All lenses for lights. grills. door handles. mirrors. bumpers. etc. were purchased new. Old stainless was re-polished due to better quality which looks like new now. All gaskets and rubber components were purchased new as well as every piece of glass. All window mechanisms were rebuilt with new rollers and slides. Vent windows were re-chromed. Car sits on 17" Cragar wheels. 8" wide on the front. 11" wide on the rear and was lowered 1-1/2” via front end and sits perfectly! In closing. no corners were cut. This car is a one of a kind street rod that is an absolute head turner.
