Description of 1966 Plymouth Fury 2-door sedan

Great 2 car package deal, best offer close to 9k purchases both vehicles. Will also entertain offers on any parts from either complete vehicle if package isn't sold.

1966 Plymouth fury 2-door sedan original 1 woman owner, 1966 Plymouth fury 1 station wagon clone to 2-door in every option/color & detail comes together with purchase of 2-door sedan. Both vehicles ordered identically with same options with same exterior and interior colors. (except for special ordered service state government items listed on wagon, plus current newer 15"x7" police wheels with caps, goodyear tires.
Both vehicles come with all documentation from new with clear titles, both original Mopar cert-cards in holders under hood and all paperwork. 2-door sedan has orig owners manual with original invoice from new selling dealer, Wagon has all state registrations since being put in government service for many years starting new in 1966. Both vehicles built new just numbers apart on Hamtramck, MI. assembly line.
Rare to have matching identical set of option ordered vehicles with only body style being different. Both vehicles to be sold together as package on this special pricing deal for two and don't want to separate, thank you.
(1.) 1966 Plymouth fury 1 2-door sedan original owner survivor. Always garaged very nice original western state solid straight body with excellent original chrome & trim. Ordered new with full wheel covers, white sidewall tires, rear fender skirts, seat belts, heater and has optional safety bumper guards on bumpers front & rear, with no radio.
(2.) 1966 Plymouth fury 1 6 passenger station wagon. very nice solid straight original body ordered identically with same options as 2-dr sedan above with additional H/D special service alternator/regulator and sway bar package. Comes with many other nice extra used and NOS parts in photos + (many large items not photographed) to help with restoration. (Under dash 2-way radio and bull whip antenna) no longer on vehicle.
Both vehicle drivetrains are identical having 318 poly V/8 wide block, Manual 3-spd transmission, manual steering, manual brakes, seat belts, heater, and no factory radio's.
Station wagon need's exterior paint as original has faded to red primer and metal and full interior restoration or replace. Drivetrain is complete and has never been checked out due to other vehicle drive train was to be used in it's place. Wagon headliner and chrome bows still good and usable but will need all lower parts of interior replaced along with bull whip antenna on right 1/4 upper side panel with under dash 2-way radio if desired. Wagon comes with additional factory air dash shell with, 4-speed transmission tunnel hump in parts photo if want to convert to factory air dash with an aftermarket A/C/ unit installed as a possible 4-speed, 440 or 426 crate Hemi tow vehicle conversion. Many other large items such as extra sheet metal, mechanical, fury 3 tailgate, trim not photographed along with NOS rear window handle, both taillight assemblies, and chrome fuel cap. Has newer 15" police wheels & caps.
2-door sedan run's great, had fuel tank boiled out along with fuel line from long storage a while ago but will need carburetor rebuilt (have included extra one to rebuild and install), both cars have same 2-bbl carburetors) Very nice interior, carpet has some wear and both seats will need recovered due to thin factory material becoming split but has had seat covers on it since the 1980's.Body is rock solid top to bottom but will need some small skin patches on each side of both front & rear wheelhouse's due to having a bag of play sand perched on top of both wheelhouses in trunk for winter weight in snow that broke over time. This is only outer small skin damage. All underside, trunk pockets, outer wheelhouse and everything connected to skins are still rock solid as new so will be very light patch repair on skin areas. Original light blue metallic paint will need refurbished as well as it's faded and won't come back.
Original plan was to use 2-dr. sedan to restore interior of unique special service wagon. Other items inside and out were also to be used along with grafting in both front 1/4 panel sections, using everything forward on exterior along with doors to build a custom 2-door wagon after removing the 4 doors and pillar instead of patching 1/4's. Both cars are inoperable at this time so you will need to trailer both until rebuilding carb on 2-door and checking out mechanical's on wagon. Both vehicles also need batteries. 2-dr odometer reads just over 44,000 miles and wagon shows just over 22,000 miles, both have turned over once.
