Here is a really nice 1949 Three window Plymouth Business Coupe.This car is rust free and straight. All gaps are good. 42952 actual mileage. No scratches dents or dings only very minor fault could be found. There is almost no pitting in the chrome which is shiny. Paint is good. This was an older ground up restoration some years back. garaged in a heated garage until I bought it.The car is clean in, out and under. It runs like a sewing machine. Appears numbers matching. Straight flat head 6 cylinder engine and three on the tree manual shift, with original 6 volt system. There has been a lot of custom work done on this car. The fuel inlet cap on the outside is no more, other than that the rest of the body is original ...the fuel door has been recessed into the body and covered by a conventional as we know it fuel door. It flows with the body and locks as well. Looks factory! A working "Plymouth" high mounted stop lamp....really cool. In the dash is built in a 2 place cup holder. The whole dash itself has been fabricated to look as new. And it does. All finished in wood. All accessories work. There is also an overhead radio,cassette player with speakers built in. All working. There may be 2500 miles on the car since last restored. Very light usage. The interior has been remodded somewhat, It is perfectly clean and tidy. All interior materials are new. Under the hood is a 218 Lhead flathead six. It has a custom chrome fan shroud/dam. It also has a chrome battery cover and heater exchange box. all chromed and fabbed only for this car. Custom alloy wheels. Rubber is deep on the tires, all gaskets has been replaced as well. The car shows very well. I would not call it a 10 trailer queen, it's almost too nice to drive but It is a driver.. the man who restored this vehicle is a master craftsman and the car shows the fruits of his labor.The quality shows thru out.
