Description of 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Cuda

FREE DELIVERY to the Chryslers At Carlisle PA Swap Meet and Show on Friday July 12 and Saturday July 13 2019. Regretfully selling my rare factory In Violet (also known as Plum Crazy) 1970 Barracuda BH23 code car. This car is a little more rare than most due to the fact that its a Big Block 383 4 speed Manual Transmission car WITH Air Conditioning and 489 casing 3.55 Sure Grip rear. Yes, i know it aint the only Barracuda made but its surely less than 100 in the color and combination of options. As far as condition, It runs and drives and stops just fine. Frame rails are very nice and the underneath of the car is super solid. All lights work and the tires have less than 2500 miles on them. The A/C hasn't been charged in years but the compressor does still kick on, The original BLACK vinyl top is gone and i had just painted the roof black. Passenger seat has a split in the bottom cover. It is not numbers matching but it is a 1970 383 and 833 transmission. It does have some rust bubbles in the bottoms of the rear quarters and other small spots around the body. I know its not a $75k car right now, but it is worth what i have it listed for. I have driven this car for a while now and i now need to sell it to fund other things. Anyone interested can surely come check the car out in person and take a drive in it. I really prefer to sell it in person with a smile and a handshake. I have the original build sheet, original fender tag, along with numerous other receipts and documentation. 540 - I can be reached - 270- for any questions you - 4168- may have.

Just wanted to say thanks to all who have emailed, called, and actually came out to preview the Barracuda. Ive been a little overwhelmed with the responses to say the least. I just want to state again, to anyone who wasn't able to come check it out in person, that it is a great driver and not a true show car. If a few rust bubbles, paint chips, faded paint, faded carpet, a cracked dash pad and a right side header gasket leaking is a big deal then please do not waste my time nor yours. It is a very nice Hi Impact color Plymouth and really want it to go to someone who is going to appreciate the true meaning of what a muscle car is. They are meant to be DRIVEN and enjoyed. I surely have for years. Im not the show car type as i like to drive my toys, not put them in a garage and never listen to those big blocks sing. I prefer to take Cash in person but i will also do a Bank Wire Transfer a well. My bank will hold funds for up to 14 days if they are unsure of the funds being sent. Its just their policy, not mine. Paypal Deposits are non-refundable due to the cost of listing this, selling this, and the final paperwork. Nothing is cheap anymore and neither is selling stuff. It costs money, time, it aint free and we all know that. For those who have asked me about delivery... If it is on my way from Central Virginia to the Chryslers swap meet and show at Carlisle PA, then YES i will surely deliver it for FREE as long as it is paid for ahead of time. To answer a few of the common questions, It does have a Holley 4 barrel carb, The fuel gauge works just fine, The Interior lights do work, Steering is nice and tight with no slop or play, The clutch is a Centerforce brand and it does have a heavier feel than a stock one, The exhaust is factory style and tone, No Flowmasters, The factory rallys are 14", The temperature normally stays around 180 - 195 cruising at 65 mph on an 85 degree day, and the wipers work as well. I hope this helps and answers some of the questions for those that said they wanted to drive it home. I will say it one last time, Its a GREAT driving car. Good luck to all bidding on this awesome and rare Plymouth.
