The owner who is one of the most experienced restoration specialists in the Northwest, looked for nearly 2 years to find the most original and complete vehicle available to conduct this remarkable restoration, and then over 3 years restoring it.
I am not a dealer and I have no stake in the sale but am lasting it for him as i am familiar with this vehicle and the how it was restored to this exceptional level. NOTE: If you wish to communicate with him directly and possibly the engine builder please contact me.
The reason the owner is offering this vehicle, is that he recently received an offer he could not refuse for his business and is retiring early. Over several decades he built one of the oldest, most experienced and respected body and paint shops in the Northwest, and is well-known for his dedication to top-level service, repair and restoration of luxury and performance, collectible and specialty vehicles.
Owner estimates he has invested about 2,000 man-hours and at least the asking price to fulfill a childhood dream of his Ideal GTX',
Overall the car is very original with the exception of the of an OEM Spec transmission conversion from Automatic to 4-speed manual with a new$5,000 'Hemi Duty' Transmissionby Norm's transmissions and factory Hurst shiftier and console.
