Description for Plymouth Road Runner 1970

Absolutely incredible car!! All numbers matching 440 six pack 4 speed with Galen Govier paperwork. Entire drivetrain removed and set aside for safe keeping and replaced with a world class drivetrain featuring a 512” wedge with 6 pack multiport fuel injection for instant starting and outstanding performance. Car was recently highlighted in the July 2019 edition of Mopar Collectors Guide with a multipage spread showing off it’s amazing pedigree. The engine has over 650 horsepower that is connected to a new HEMI 4 speed that sends the power to a rebuilt 8 ¾ rear with 3.23:1 rear end for easy freeway cruising. Please don’t send messages about the rear end since I still have the original Dana 60 3.54:1 rear sitting on the side. I just wanted to be able to cruise on the freeway easily.

Previous to my ownership the car was treated to a full restoration and shows like a show car should. I wanted to be able to truly enjoy the car with an extra 300 horsepower and fuel injection for ease and pleasure of driving. If the new owner prefers to switch everything back original GO AT IT! The way this car drives cannot be put words but I can certainly say it lacks nothing in any department and of course turns heads everywhere it goes. I do like the “original” cars as well but once you drive something like this you will quickly understand there is no going back to “stock”. Feel free to contact me IF YOU ARE SERIOUS for further information on this one of a kind Superbird.

Car is for sale in other locations so I reserve the option to end auction.
