Description of 1969 Plymouth GTX

Real GTX, #s match Super Commando 440. Fresh rotisserie restoration. Underneath this car is as pretty as the top.
EXTERIOR: The exterior of this car is gorgeous. I think it's better than when it left the factory because the paint didn't look this nice when they were new. The panels lineup really flush and square. It is laser straight down both sides, smooth all along the bottoms. I don't see any issues, no cracking or bubbles. The blue metallic is laid out real nice and it is buried under a deep clear coat finish that is polished like glass. Door jambs are painted just as glossy. New weather strips and sill plates. Upfront the grill is restored to excellent condition, the bumper and turn signal lenses are new. Has the correct antenna, the moldings down the sides are new. All the stainless trim around the windows and gutters are new. The windshield is new with a new gasket. The mirrors and door handles are new. The vinyl top is new. In back the tail lights tail bezels and bumper look new. Has some really sharp looking 17 inch polished American Racing wheels with BFGoodrich custom-made redline tires.
INTERIOR: Inside the car has been completely restored. All new correct upholstery, door panels are new including the armrests, bases and handles. The metal trim is painted like the exterior. The dash area is restored. New dash pad, lenses, instruments, knobs. Has a digital retro stereo in the factory hole. The center console is new. A mini tachometer is neatly installed below the dash. Overhead headliner looks new.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has it's original VIN number matching 440 super Commando motor which makes 375 horsepower. We verified the casting codes, dates and the vin is stamped on the pad by the oil pan. The engine bay is completely restored to show quality. The metal is all clean metal painted glossy blue. The motor has a fresh coat of paint. New dual feed chrome plated Holley carb on top. It looks like the distributor, wires, hoses, alternator is all new. The new wire loom looks new. It has an added polished overflow bottle and an electric fan in front of the radiator.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Completely clean metal painted blue with a gloss clear coat finish including under the mat, bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb. The latches, mat and weatherstrip are new.
UNDERSIDE: Literally flipped on a rotisserie so the bottom of the car could be made to look like the top. Perfectly clean metal that's painted the body color. It looks practically brand new. All the front and rear suspension is rebuilt. New brake system Including disc brake upgrade in front, new lines, hoses and e-brake assembly. New fuel tank, straps, sending unit and lines. New dual exhaust system with the correct tips in back. Bottom of the motor is clean, new high torque starter. 727 Torqueflite auto trans is clean. Has 3.23 gears in the rear end. Everything looks new down to the body grommets, clips, hardware etc.
This GTX is gorgeous. If you don't like compliments, this car is not for you! The body and paint guy deserves a pat on the back.
