Description of 1970 Plymouth Barracuda cuda

Vehicle Details

True 1970 Cuda, not a lot made in this configuration in 1970. Redone original FF4 Lime Green Metallic (paint scheme was changed by adding the strobes and black top along with rear wing, and black grill all similar to the AAR look but not a replica. All stainless moldings were meticulously metal worked and repolished, all weather stripping is new. Windshield is new, all other glass is original and has light scratches to be expected over 50+ years. Sound deadening was added throughout interior.

Original 340 engine rebuilt and cammed with upgraded 4 barrel. Original 340 air cleaner was lost years ago but installed 1970 super commander dual snorkel big block air cleaner, ceramic headers, aluminum radiator, upgraded original 23 spline 4 speed to 18 spline hemi 4 speed. New plugs, wires, coil, hoses. Everything is either new or restored to my preference, has fresh fluids throughout.

Interior is 95% new quality 1970 correct reproduction. The rest was carefully refreshed. The odometer rolled over which is the time of rebuild so that worked out great. There is no radio, but harness is intact to install one. Original dash vin plate was reinstalled in new dash and matches door vin and other identification around car. All gauges and switches work great, even the 4 speed dash reverse light works perfectly.

Factory road lamp car, with front and rear sway bars. Power steering. No AC, heat only, drum brakes work good.

17" staggered replica wheels with correct light colored caps along with brand new tires. Car was lowered an inch in the rear and couple in the front.

I purchased the car running but unrestored out of the southern New Mexico desert where it spent it's life. Car did not have under hood plate or build sheet because previous owner was about to make it a drag car and removed good original inner fenders and full trunk floor. So new inner fenders and trunk floors were installed. The other metal work was lower quarters and small patch in front drivers floor (all professionally done or corrected before paint. This is a beautiful weekend driver, and a ton of fun.

I'm sure I am leaving a lot of details out, but if you have any questions, call Kane at 87zero-405-2317

Car is located in NW Arkansas.
