Description of 1964 Plymouth Fury Sport Fury |
| Up for auction is a very nice 64 Plymouth Sport Fury. This is a solid daily driver car. It has an older red paint job that still shows well. The interior is also very clean. bucket seats with after market floor B&M shifter. 727 automatic transmission. Also rebuilt. All the side trim and stainless are on the car and are all in good shape for a driver car. The engine has just been tuned. rebuilt holley carb. . ew K&N air filter. new gaskets. alt. . belts. hoses. mopar battery. water pump. etc. Has 340 aluminum torker intake manifold and mopar valve covers. All new brake job. front and rear. The engine is a steel crank HP 340 with the big valve heads and 484 purple cam. electronic ignition. exhaust is full 3" from headers through mufflers with turn downs. Some after market gauges. radiator was also cleaned and the engine runs cool. All electrical in good working condition and will pass Texas inspection. Car has max-wedge hood scoop. {functional}. all glass has been tinted. bumpers are very nice. All windows roll up and down and all glass is good. Car drives great with lots of power. has power steering and power brakes. The wheels are old school police wheels. dog dish caps. with good 215-75-15 tires. This is a nice solid rust free car with what seems to be original metal panels. There is some filler here and there and has some light scratches. dings. etc. from being driven and is an older repaint. No rust or bubbles showing. maybe some light surface in trunk. but solid. Most of the factory undercoating is still under the car. Some of the side trim will need new clips. looks like it has the original headliner still in the car with one of the sun visors starting to separate. radio not working. It comes with clear title. has the original fender tag and build sheet. This is not a #'s matching car. Please call 361-319-0230 with any questions.
