Here we have a 1953 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe Woody Wagon that has been built into the ultimate street rod woody. The body on this car is rust free and solid as a rock, ll original sheet metal. The car is laser straight with perfect body seams and alignment, xcellent fit and finish. The paint is corvette mango orange that has a show quality finish to it with a deep consistent shine. The wood grain is hand painted and looks incredible, ne of the best jobs I have ever seen. I can't imagine the hours upon hours it must have taken to perfect the detail of the wood, ou really have to see it in person to appreciate it, imply amazing. The interior of the wagon has been finished in a beautiful brown leather with wood grain accent throughout. The dash has been completely restored to perfection with all new Auto Meter gauges, hrome tilt steering column, nd all new chrome hardware. Other features include power windows, emote power door locks, intage air conditioning and heat, nd Pioneer stereo. The interior is absolutely breathtaking and is very comfortable. This awesome wagon is powered by a ZZ430 GM crate engine. It is a 350 V8 making 430hp. There were only 430 of these engines produced and this is number 173. It is equipped with aluminum heads and intake, EI distributor, eaders, olley carb and serpentine belt drive. The transmission is a 700R4 automatic overdrive with a 9" Ford rear axle. The woody is also equipped with power steering and power disc brakes that come by way of a late model GM subframe. The chrome wire wheels are brand new along with the wide white radial tires. This is an extremely nice handling wagon that is very comfortable to drive, ery tight and smooth. This wagon needs nothing and is ready to go, verything in excellent working order and with just under 5k miles all the bugs have been worked out and it is ready for it's new home.
