Bought at auction 2 years ago. Restored. Quarter panels replaced and all rust removed beforetriple block sanding to straight body lines. The paint is a 10. Denver Gold Metalic (original color). Bumpers rechromed and are perfect (by Escondido Plating in California). Significant body work was done to remove all rust. Replaced with metal. No Bondo used. Dual sportmirrors, river's side remote adjust. Correct, riginal stripping. No cracks on interior. Seats in excellent condition. The engine was replaced about 3000 miles ago with the 350 Chevy. Solidtransmission. The hood scoop works. Many don't. 15" Rally wheels. Excellent rubber. Very few miles on BFG Radial P23560/R15. New rear anti-sway bar.
These were the best driving GTOs of the series. The Radial tuned suspension makes it corner better than any other GTO. The 350 engine (200 HP) is well matched to the lighter body of this model. It drivessolid and strong and is a real head-turner. Won "Best of Classic Stock" in the 2014 Western Colorado Classic Car show.
