1978 Trans Am same owner for last 18years. Black paint about 7 years ago -- Dupont Centari with clear coat VFN 4" fiberglass cowl induction hood 6 point roll cage Race seats with 5 point harnesses Hurst Hatch t-tops Engine: 474 Pontiac (455 bored and stroked) 12:1 compression -- About 500 -- 600 hp Eagle H-Beam rods -- 6.800" long Custom forged pistons Cryo-treated crankshaft Tool Steel 4-bolt main caps Solid lifter cam Edelbrock Aluminum heads -- Ported with oversize valves installed Harland Sharp roller rockers Fabricated aluminum valve covers Canton road race oil pan Fluid filled harmonic balancer Edelbrock RPM single plane intake Holley 850 carb Dual fuel pressure regulators Remote oil filter with oversized racing filter (about 2 quart capacity) Moroso oil accumulator and electric solenoid to activate it MSD pro billet distributor and 6AL box with rev limiter and in car timing adjustment SFI approved flex plate High torque aftermarket gear reduction starter (I think it is a CSR brand) TCI 3000 stall converter TH400 trans with upgrades Factory Ratcheting shifter Custom drive shaft with 1350 series u-joints and safety loop Ford 9" rear end with 3.73 gears and spool Strange custom axles 4 wheel disc brakes 5/8" Aeroquip fuel line from tank to carb Fuel sump in tank to prevent fuel starvation on launch much more! over $30k invested in this car. i also have the factory gold bird decals and the gold stripe decals. also include the factory seats. new $300 gold leather wrapped steering wheel (factory style). let me know if any questions! thanks. car runs mid 11's as is.. all on motor.On Jul-30-15 at 17:24:24 PDT, eller added the following information: thanks for all the interest, uestions, tc. i figured i would add a couple notes to the description. the sticker kit does come with the car as well as the factory seats. as with all hotrod cars, here are a couple things that should be pointed out. the car was going to be even more of a drag car, o there are no wipers installed, he e-brake is removed, tc. the car does have a couple things here and there, ut overall it is a super car. built right and runs/drives solid. please let me know if there is any other questions or other pictures needed, tc. i'm adding a couple others tonight also. thanks.
