Description of 1949 Pontiac Other

For sale is a 1949 Pontiac Silver Streak Sedan. I am helping a friend sell this vehicle that he has owned for over 20 years.
The car came from the high desert area around Bend, regon and is a nearly rust free vehicle. It was purported to have only been driven for 10 years from new and then it was parked. Other than some slight surface rust there is only one very small pinhole of rust over the driver's rear wheel well. There is no other known rust in the vehicle.
Motor and transmission was removed from the car a number of years ago but is there and complete. Motor will need to be rebuilt and the condition of the transmission is unknown.
The interior upholstery is original to the car and in fair condition and would need to be replaced. All stainless and trim on the exterior is intact except for the driver's door where the stainless is inside the car. Emblems for the exterior are also there. There is one dent in the grill and a couple very small marks on the rest of the grill. All trim for the interior appears to be there except for the drivers door inside panel.
The title to the vehicle was misplaced many years ago and a Bill of Sale would be provided when purchased.
This is a complete car with all the trim and emblems for a restoration. If there are some small missing parts that aren't readily noticed they are very few. The car would make an excellent restoration or can be used to assist your current project.
