Description of 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible

***65 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE 3-2S 4 SPEED PS PB SUPER SHARP PHS DOCS POWERFUL 389 V-8 ENGINE--- THREE-TWOS ---RUNS DRIVES GREAT*** This is a 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible in red with Coker red line tires. a black interior that features bucket seats and console and a new black top. The body is very straight and solid. Chrome and trim are very nice and all glass is good. The interior has new seat covers and door panels. It has black upholstery with a console and four speed shifter. The car drives great with power steering and power brakes. Engine is a WT 389 that according to the PHS information came from the factory with one four barrel that was changed to a three - two setup by a previous owner. Transmission is a Muncie M20 and the rear has 3:23 gears. This car is in excellent condition and ready for someone to enjoy. It was purchased from the widow of the previous owner and received some TLC to get it in the beautiful condition you see in the photos. It has a console with four speed shifter Sharp interior Pontiac emblem on steering wheel and shifter knob has GTO emblem Instruments work  A previous owner must have replaced the original radio with this one that is also a cassette player Shifter and console GTO dash trim and grab bar Back seat New top Driver door panel Passenger door panel The engine was removed from the car and the compartment detailed. When the engine was out of the car some gaskets and seals were replaced. The oil pan was removed and internally the engine looks like it was gone through and doesn't have many miles. Engine fires right up and runs great  The master cylinder has been replaced and the car brakes properly It has a new alternator and battery. Car has power steering. The trio of carburetors have chrome air cleaners Clean engine I took this photo of the "WT" mark on the engine. The numbers appear to be 455981 but I cannot be certain. Suspension is tight Underside of the hood Trunk is clean Underside of trunk lid The trunk mat looks new Driver side of trunk - top boot is in the cover Passenger side of trunk with spare Cowl plate was cleaned when the engine compartment was detailed. VIN on car Clear title with VIN that matches the one on the car PHS paperwork confirms car is a real GTO PHS paperwork - car was burgundy with black interior and white top when new. It was also a 389 - 335 with one four barrel carburetor. Apparently the car was repainted red and the carburetor and manifold replaced with the 3-2 setup. The convertible top is new and black.
