| Up for auction is an original survivor 1959 Pontiac Catalina Safari Station Wagon. A GREAT candidate for restoration. this wagon does run and drive and the original 389 engine runs great! Miles are 71. 43 but no proof if original miles or not? Sporting its original Gulf stream Blue Paint and Blue interior. this wagon is equipped with power steering and power brakes. The belts and hoses do need to be changed and the brakes are a little soft. The original 3 on the column has been converted to the floor tastefully with a Hurst shifter. The front glass is cracked as is the driver side rear glass. The tailgate glass is missing as well. Overall. this is a solid car. It was purchased new in Wyoming and then spent the rest of its time in Colorado. so this wagon is pretty rust free. The rockers. frame. body mounts and floor pans as well as the spare tire area are nice and solid. Under the doors are rust free as is under the rear tail gate. The headliner has some tears and the rear cargo area vinyl is cracked as well as the front seat has a hole in the drives side. The front fender does need some work and the rear drivers side needs a little work as well. ( I do have a pair of NOS front fenders if in need. but ARE NOT part of this auction) The roof of the car doesn't seem to have any dents and the drip rails are nice and solid and 0 rust! All the trim is with the car except one piece over the rear drivers side tail light. I do have additional rims and extra tail light parts that go with the car.
