| Recently pulled from 20+ years of storage. Not numbers matching. PHS Documentation. Located 50 miles east of Texarkana!True 1977 Y82 Trans Am with W72 400 option and automatic as was used in the "Smokey and the Bandit" movie. This car is wearing many original parts and has very minor rust issues. Some body panels have been replaced and it will need passenger side quarter and drivers door jamb area replaced. Frame rails are solid and floors have minimal rust. Some small rust holes in floor but no major rot. Front cap is bolted on without spacers for transport- body lines will not line up properly until installed correctly. Car is missing shaker scoop. door sills. front fender flares and spoiler. Car will also need complete headliner. Some A/C ductwork pieces are missing below dash. There is no radio. Carpet is from donor car and is driver quality. Dash is almost perfect. Some rust spots on metal part of dash in far passenger side corner. Seats are good cores for recovering. Driver's side seat seems to have issues with the tracks being off center. Console and shifter are original to car and show minimal wear. Aluminum dash bezel is in poor shape and would most likely need to be replaced. Steering wheel has a bit of the foam padding in bad shape. Passenger side rear side panel is faded to a almost grey as well as the passenger side kick panel. Car has not had a hot battery put to it to see if it will crank- it will need fluids flush and some engine wiring completed to get running. Brake master cylinder is dry and looks corroded.
