Description of 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix

I am selling TWO (2) 1962 Pontiac GRAND PRIX's. Car #1. Blue car. Its an old timer drag car with title. Owner did what they did back in the day to make it faster. Originality was not an issue then. Going fast was the point. So here are the changes I know of. 400 block. TH400 trans with adaptation at the cross member. Air bags in rear coils for traction. Engine has 1962 heads and tripower intake but the tripower has adapter plates to run all large bore carbs like they had in 1966. RARE Factory cast iron long branch headers. Car is a factory AC PW 8 lug car. FACTORY TACH on automatic console NOT a vacuum gauge. Front clip is off a Bonneville. There are 62 GP grills included. The 4 speed parts car does not have GP grills. Car is complete. Trunk has door panels and many more parts included. Extra full dash pad too. I believe this car has a posi or spool even though the rear end is not stamped with an "L" and has no steel "limited slip" tag. When the car is up in the air and you turn the rear wheels they both go same direction. I have never heard the car run. I tryied to turn by hand but the belts just slip and I've not put a tool to it. The original body and paint are very nice with solid interior and trunk floors. If you know full-size Pontiacs you'll be very happy with this trunk floor. I do have a NOS drivers side fender for extra money. May have a better passenger side fender too. Parting over 250 full-size pontiacs. Car #2. Rough factory 4 speed car with 3:42 POSI and 8 lugs. Car has the very hard to find console. pedals. linkage and Z bar with frame bracket. NO title. NO engine or trans. I have a forklift and will assist in loading.
