Description of 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix

This pontiac grand prix has been my dads car for over 16 years the car runs and drives great very fast.The last time he had it registered was 2013 Then he got sick and was not able to drive it after that. The car has T-TOPS that are the original ones to the car They do not seal perfect never had the weather stripping replaced. There is rust on the top of the windshield as seen in the pictures and a little spots further back on the roof. Also there is the start of rust under the rear window as seen in the pictures.My dad was planning to have the car painted be for he got sick so he took off all the chrome molding on the hood as well as the hood ornament wich I have it .Also have the original books to the car.From what my dad told me the exhaust is clean and straight. overall the exterior has no dents but the car needs some prep and paint as he never was able to finish his dream. The interior is in nice condition as he always had covers on the seats but it is not perfect i noticed the strap to pull the door closed was in the back seat and some other little wear and tear for a 40 year old hot rod. He had the engine completely rebuilt to race fast down the road and since then he probably only drove it less than 10,000 miles as he only took the car out in the summer and was not his daily driver. I do not know much about cars but i know he said it has rear end race gears and posi whatever thats means? I started and drove the car from his car port to my yard last week and it ran fine started right up with a new battery. kept it running for a while as he had a new water pump thermostat installed a month ago. The car is 40 years old and never been professional restoration as long as i know so for all that being said she I'm sure to be perfect would need that other wise you are bidding on my dads car that has some rusty spots and the interior is 90%I tried to take pictures of all the major stuff that i saw but I'm no car man so i am trying to let you know that this car needs some body (rusty spots) here and there Ask me any questions you want i can get you all the answers.
