Here we have up for sale at NO RESERVE a completely original 1981 Trans Am with a code LG4 5.0 liter V8 and 4-spd manual transmission. This car has all its original Code 75 Bright Red paint that is in very good condition and shines like a car only a few years old. It does have some nicks and scratches but its ALL original. The interior is also the original Red vinyl with a near perfect dash without cracks. This 1981 Trans Am has not been modified and is just as it came from the factory as shown on the PHS report.The car is completely rust free and has all factory undercoating intact. It still has A/C that blows cold and even the clock ticks away just as it did when new. The factory AM/FM radio is still there and works great. This car has power steering and brakes and a factory rear window defrost. The engine runs and drives great and starts every time with one twist of the key. The trans shifts smoothly and with only 52,000 original miles, rives down the road as a low mileage T/A should. The carpet and headliner are very nice and the trunk has the original space saver spare as well as the jack. Under the hood the 305 V8 looks good and leaks no oil. The engine compartment has been detailed to look factory but not overdone. The factory hood decal is the only thing on car that shows its age. It is faded and I have purchased a new decal from Phoenix Graphics but chose not to put it on wanting to keep everything original. The car recently passed CA smog check and does have a new CARB approved Cat so buyers in CA don't have to worry. The car can be inspected and driven anytime. Call Dave 760-803-2626.
