A complete ground up restoration was completed in 2004. and was repainted to the original candlelight cream. The engine is a numbers matching 326 cu-in v8. Factory AC car. works great. blows cold. The Tempest was purchased new in Orlando Florida on 12-20-1965 at McNamara Pontiac. We have the original new car invoice. original protection plan booklet with protect-o-plate. and lots of original service and repair invoices from McNamara Pontiac . This Tempest looks great. runs great and is a lot of fun to drive. EXTERIOR: Candlelite Cream in base coat-clear coat. INTERIOR: Very nice all black with bucket seats. power steering. STEREO: Kenwood am-fm cd. bluetooth. new speakers. ENGINE: Original 326 cu-in V8 with Edelbrock carb. intake. air cleaner. and valve covers. also bigger camshaft and headers. TRANSMISSION: Custom built 200 4R 4 speed automatic with 2500 stall convertor with lock up switch. REAR END: Factory 10 bolt with Auburn positraction. Richmond 3:90 gears. Lakewood traction bars. boxed lower control arms and anti sway bar. WHEELS: Chrome 15" Cragar SS 5 spoke. TIRES: Tiger Paw P235/60R/15 radials. EXHAUST: Headers. dual exhaust. flow master mufflers. This is a very nice 1966 Tempest. very solid. looks great. runs and drives awesome. and faster than you may think. If you want a car you can get in and drive anywhere. look good and have a great time this car is for you.
