Description of 1975 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

1975 Trans Am with great body, omplete interior in good condition and original running drivetrain. The only original component missing under the hood is the coolant recovery tank. Car was optioned with Deluxe Interior, C, track cassette, ilt steering and power windows. Unfortunately the Formula steering wheel was replaced with an aftermarket Grant wheel. Included with the car is a very good set of doors. I also have a set of 15x7 Rally II wheels that I can include for an additional fee.
The engine is the correct YS code 400 withmatching 5C cylinder heads for this car. I believe it is the original engine but would need to remove the lower radiator hose to verify the VIN stamp on the block.
I have recently replaced the radiator, uel pump, ater pump, ower steering pump and hoses, hermostat, uel tank sending unit, ower brake booster and master cylinder, eavy duty alternator and the drive belts and hoses, uel tank and vapor return line. The car has received the normal tune up items and runs strong and reliablyespecially considering the engine is original.
The stated mileage of 18,999 is simply what the odometer reflects. This odometerrolls over for values over 99,999.
The floor pans are solid with only minor rust through. I did locate a patch panel in the trunk. The inner lip area of the trunk has also been patched. I believe the original color may have been changed from silver. The car is by no means perfect but could be made into a great original car with alittle work. I have a great local source for any parts needed on the car whose contact info I can share.
There is no reserve price on the car so for the starting price of $6500 you could own this classic if you are the lucky bidder. No guessing or high reserves. This car has a lot of potential but because of the work required to bring it to it's potential I have lowered the asking price. I can't afford to keep it and give it the quality restoration it deserves. This is not even a break even price after the parts I have replaced.
The vehicle is being relisted due to the logistics of transport to the wining bidder of the previous auction.
