Reserve PRICE ? / NO trades

I truly appreciate everyone's interest, ut in fairness to all bidders I will not disclose my Reserve and I am not interested in Trades. This very special car is going to a new owner which could be you. Bid what you are willing to pay.

NOTE..... Please read the entire description below. This will put you in a better position to ask details important to you that I may have missed. Also,

please take time to watch the Test Drive VIDEO above

PHS docs (Pontiac Historical Society)

A copy of the critical PHS document has been included in the photos above. This is a factory Starlight Black RA III Judge.

Suitable for CONCOURS participation

Stunning frame off, ut & bolt restoration. This Judge has had significant money and talent invested to bring its current state. The really good news is that it was a quality running and driving car still wearing its original paint before it was taken apart and restored by the 3rd owner. The typical problem areas (Floors, ear Quarters & Trunk Pan) are ORIGINAL in this car and in beautiful condition. The car also retains its original motor and original transmission but the rear end has been changed out to the optional 3:55 posi from another 69 GTO.

History

Built in the Atlanta plant and sold new by M.F. Jones Chevrolet/Pontiac in Dallas Georgia. This car has always been in the south. It is believed to have had only 4 owners, he last 3 of which are known.

The 3rd owner personally stripped the original paint down to bare metal during the "Frame Off" restoration. The BUYER will get a photo album that documents this process as well as names of the last 3 owners - including the name and number of the owner who did the restoration (he is a long time Judge owner and currently owns two Judges).

Numbers matching original Motor

This Judge still retains its original factory installed VIN number matching motor. It has been completely rebuilt and has less than 200 miles of wear. It starts easily, dles good, ccelerates hard and does not overheat. Visually the engine and engine bay are as close to prefect as man can make it.

Is Color important

Absolutely, olor is very important, specially when it's a low production color that is highly sought after by collectors.

PHS docs and the cowl Trim Tag document this to be a true "trim tag code 10" Starlight BLACK Judge. It is important to note that the color Black was a rarely seen, low production" color for Muscle cars of the late 1960's. Not only is Black one of the hardest to find factory colors, uy it is considered by many to be the "most desirable" of colors. It is not known how many "Black Judges" were built in 1969, ut my guess is very few. If anyone has information on this I would love to know.

How Many were built?

This is a rare Judge amongst Judges.

The automatic Judge is much harder to find than the 4-speed (....over 76% were 4-speeds). Only 1,563 "Turbo-400 Automatic " RA III Judges were built. By far, ost 1969 Judges were 4-speeds. Add to that fact the rare color and you have a truly rare muscle car, ne of very few "as built" . I think it's safe to say it would be next to impossible to duplicate this car, specially in this pristine condition.

Condition

With less than 200 miles on the restoration, here is no notable fatigue or "road wear" anywhere on this car including the floors. Even the bottom side of the inner fenders (usually the first area to show road rash) still look freshly done. Although the restoration was done 20 years ago, t looks like it could have been done last year. Top to bottom it still has that freshly restored appearance.

Paint & body: The super slick paint is show quality. It has that deep wet, ighly reflective look. The body is laser straight with body gaps and alignment all at factory specs.

Interior: The interior is show quality. Every part of the interior is new and/or restored including the dash pad, hich was sent to "JUST DASHES" to be renewed.

Undercarriage: The undercarriage is highly detailed and in show quality condition. All the high wear suspension components were replaced and brakes rebuilt. The gas lines, rake lines, rake cable, xhaust and gas tank were all replaced in the restoration. Other than some light surface rust on some components, he undercarriage looks freshly done. If you want to show it for maximum points at the concours level, ery little detailing would be required.

Gardner Exhaust: I LOVE this exhaust system. Built to factory specs by "Gardner Exhaust Systems" and unique to the "automatic" cars, t has the factory style RESONATORS at the rear. It's a very cool look that really gets noticed.

Performance / the Test Drive

Although the car has been pampered as a trailer queen since it was finished, t has been started and driven just enough over the years to help prevent issues.

We took it on a test drive and give it a good shake down. This car will get it!!

There were no issues noted. We found everything to be in working order with the exception of the AC. The AC system is complete and I am told it worked prior to my possession. However, t is currently not blowing cold.

Investment Grade / $$ Value

This car has never before been offered in the public domain and my guess is it will be a very long time before it surfaces again.

Naturally, ny concours or near concours condition Judge is a BLUE CHIP investment. ADD to that the rarity of factory "Black on Black', hen you have something unique - a "true freak" in the world of almost 50-year-old muscle cars.

Seasoned collectors and investors know that there is a DIFFERENCE in these cars and "that difference" matters. Please do your market research.......

Hagerty Price Guide and NADA both say $128,000 .... bid what you are willing to pay, t is for sale and can be purchased at a very good value.

Have FUNDS ready PRIOR to bidding or making an offer. Full payment must be received within five (7) business days of the end of auction/sale unless I agree in writing to alternative terms.

WIRE TRANSFER IS PREFERRED for US buyers and required for all buyers "outside" the United States.

Cashier's check, irect deposit or cash in person are acceptable but in ALL cases this vehicle and its title will NOT be released until complete payment is received and all funds have irrevocably cleared BOTH Banks. If paying by Bank Cashiers Check, must receive a copy of any Bank Cashiers Check in ADVANCE along with your "internal bank contact information" for confirmation of your Bank Check by my Bank. Bank Cashiers checks MUST BE classified by my bank as having irrevocably cleared both Banks prior to my release of vehicle and title.

I have an agency relationship with a Licensed Texas Dealer and all cars will be sold through this Dealer. Texas buyers will have to pay Texas sales tax and license/registration fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for taxes in their own states.

This is a very nice vehicle. However, here is no such thing as a "PERFECT" vehicle...especially when dealing with vintage vehicles. This is not a new vehicle; it is decades old. Even a restored or partially restored vehicle can and will have flaws and normal wear and tear congruent to its age and/or mileage. This vehicle may have minor dings, cratches (or, ther imperfections) and indications of wear and use because it has been used.
