Description of 1985 Pontiac Fiero SE Coupe with Air Conditioning

This is a 2M6 SE WITH V6 and Air Conditioning. This car has been stored for some time. It was originally stored because the previous owner said it has a knock in the engine. The engine is the General Motors 60 degree V6 unit that was use in the S10 Pickup and many other midsize GM cars. like Lumina. mid size pontiacs. etc. That engine originally came out at 2. 8 liters and remained the same up to 4. 1 liters. Some of these Fieros have been upgraded to the 3. 8 liter version which can use all the ignition and induction of the 2. 8. The engines are inexpensive and plentiful. There are two very informative web sites devoted exclusively to Fiero's. so information is readily available. Now this particular car has: An excellent low mileage body with no damage and no rust. (frame or other) Excellent stock interior with no wear showing. No rips or tears or open seams. Cloth in two tone greyAll glass is good. and the headlights and door glass power windows work. Tested when I had a battery in the car. Battery not included. The Paint is good on the lower portions of the body. but the upper surfaces are checked and need refinishing. There is a natural black belt line around the middle of the body and the upper portion of the body would be easy to repaint. stock silver or otherwise. Original user manual included. See Pic I just don't have the time to start a project on this car. and it has NOT been disassembled in any way. Tires have a lot of tread but have been on the car for a long time. The ignition has been gotten to by small critters nesting on top of the engine. I put a new battery in and cranked the engine over (fluids are new). but no indication of fire or spark. So Good. classic car. with potential to grow in value. or be a good thrifty car to drive if the work is done to get the engine running. I have a clear title signed off by the Previous Owner. but not transferred. The car was in a family trust and the two trustees listed on the title have both signed off a Bill of Sale and the actual Oregon Title. Buyer responsible for pick up arrangements and expense. Will make the car available at a location where it can be loaded onto a trailer. Location is in Central Oregon. Car will not drive and must be trailered away.
