Description of 1964 Pontiac Bonneville

1964 Bonnevill, Two Door, 27 Chevy withrebuilt Turbo 400 transmission. This is a real nice cruiser that has had almost everythinginspected or rebuilt. It is actually the best of three cars put in to one by the previous owner. He had $30,000 into it. I bought it for $2500.00 so he did not invest his money well. When I got it, he engine was not the original engine and it was trash, o I put in a rebuilt Turbo 400 and a 327 I had pulled out of my truck. The engine runs real good, ut it uses oil. It smokes when you start it back up after it is warm. I have a set of rebuilt heads and a gasket set that come with it. That should clear up the smoking problem. Just don't have time to do it.Itis really the only mechanical fault to the car. Tires, xhaust, nd brakes are all good.It has the console and bucket seats which look nice. The seats have some surface splitting but have not torn through. The headliner is good but needs the two bowstowards the front tied up a bit. It hangs a little low. No money involved, ust an hours worth of work. New carpets and a greatSupertunerstereo round out the interior. It does have the desired 8 lug wheels with the big aluminum drums which are pretty kool. The paint is a good 3-5 foot job. It looks nice. The hood has some paint pits that should have been prepped better. Other than that the paint looks pretty good. The black and green is a nice combination. There is a little rust on the drivers window frame and the bumpers. Not horrible but worth mentioning. Overall it is a nice car. It looks like a car you had handed down by your grandfather. Not perfect, ut very presentable. When you see all the great deals out there that are full of rust, irt, nd mice, his one looks like a pretty good start on a great "Tin Indian".I have a new door, oof, nd trunk seal kit that needs to be installed. Look around and see what's out there and come back to me with a reasonable offer. I have too much to work on so I am selling mycollection. It is drivable as is, ut therebuilt heads should be put on eventually.I have beenputting a quart of oil in every three fill-ups and driving on. It is roadworthy becauseand I drive it I go to Nashville or work, hich is 20-45 miles each way.I will do all I can to help load it on my end for shipping. It is for sale locally so I have the right to remove it at anytime. Have fun and bid often! No reserve!!

I've had a lot of people ask me to end the auction early but I won't really consider it until Saturday. Work is too busy right now, ut I can look at offers over the weekend.Kind of curious where the auction will be in three days! I did want to add that the speedometer is off by about 15 mph because it has the wrong gear in it. Not a big deal but putting it out there. The odometer show just over 100,000 but I don't know if it is original odometer or not. Also, here was alittle rust in the trunk inner support bracing. It was cleaned out but some of the metal is missing. The trunk lid is solid, ut I didn't want you to think I was leaving anything out.I also have a brand new black dash cover that goes with it. Can't remember what I paid but it wasn't cheap. It is 52 years old but she looks pretty decent! It's just not a new car so it does havesome little odds and ends that need to be tinkered with. Thanks for the interest!
