Description of 1968 Pontiac Firebird

Selling a really nice 1968 Firebird body that spent its life in the Phoenix metro area. It was originally Verdoro Green with a white vinyl top (top trim pieces are still attached to the body), 50 engine, H-350 trans, /C, archment interior, ear antenna, nd deluxe seatbelts. The VIN plate and cowl tag are still attached to the body, ut there is no title. I bought the car in 2012 from a Pontiac collector in the Phoenix area named Steve Barchak. The body has several bad spots: the driver's side floorboard requires replacement(yes, t rains in Phoenix sometimes), oth sides of the outer cowlare dented (easily repaired), he rear package shelf was butchered forspeakers (remember how you did that as a teenager?), here is an easily pushed-out dent on the left quarter panel, here is a small rust pinhole in the lower right quarter panel (a very small patch would repair it easily) and there is a dent on the passenger side rocker panel. The rest of the body is absolutely rock-solid...perfect underneath with clean floors, eautiful spring perches and attaching points, ice original gas tank (one small dent), erfect inner fender areas with factory undercoating, erfect tail panel and inner panel, ice trunk floor with only superficial rust, ice trunk drop-offs, ndented roof with originalheadliner bows attached, ice trunk lid with only surface rust (and trunktension rods still in place), ndamaged A/C firewall, riginal back and rear side windows with original chrome trim, riginal windshield trim, riginal nice taillights, riginal non-tilt steering column and steering wheel, nd a nearly perfect subframe with the original GM subframe bolts and new rubber mounts. It has nice front drum brakes that can easily be swapped for disks. There is no steering box, ut the wheels areeasily steered by hand to move it around. The windshield cowl area is absolutely perfect with no rust-thru like you find on 99% of 1st Gens. This body is a perfect starting point for a 1st Gen Firebird or Camaro build (just change the rear panel, ill in the arrowhead side marker holes, and eliminate the fish gills and you have a '68 Camaro). I livein the Columbus metro area, ust 2 miles south of I-70, o this body is easily picked up. I have$3,000 invested in it, nd I'm sure it's worth every bit of that. Buyer must pick it up within 30 days or I will charge $100 per month for storage (I'm getting rid of it to clear out the garage and make the wife stop complaining about it, o you picking it up will achieve both of those goals). Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying forshipping (I would go to "Uship.com" to arrange shipping...my zip code is 43147 and the car weighs about 1,500 lbs), ut I will do all I can to assist getting it out of here. A non-refundable down payment of $250 is required on Paypal within 24 hours of auction end, nd the rest is due by cashier's check within 10 days of auction end. Buyer will receive a notarized bill-of-sale when check clears my bank. My number is 614/769-5868 if you have any questions. Thanks and happy bidding!

Note: Ebay wouldn't let me list this without specifying a title, o I listed it as rebuildable...but there is no title...bill-of-sale only. Mileage is listed as 99,999, ut it is unknown.
