Description of 1978 Pontiac Firebird

1978 Pontiac Firebird "Smokey and the Bandit"Clone.The Car runs fantastic.The Engine is a great running 350 and has a great gas milage compared to the 6.6L.The Transmission Shifts good. Very rare Hurst/Holley package- Hurst Dual Gate Shifter (automatic or slapstick option) - it offers a His & Hurst shifter which means let the automatic shift or have some fun doing it yourself. 4 bbl carburator-Engine starts right up and sounds great( Flowmaster Exhaust 40 Series, LL Gauges are working (including the clock)you can cruise on the freeway 75 mph with 2500 rpm's.The stereo has a great sound,just had the valve cover gasket and intake gasket fixed so no oil leaks.Interior in in good condition too.The door and T-Top weatherstrips just got replaced.All lights,blinkers,marker lights are working.
Factory AC (not hooked up),Good Heat,Power steering,Power Disc Brakes in Fron, very good tires,nice paint (base coat clear coat and Bandit Decal kit, urst T Tops,oil pressure is perfect and the car stays cool at 180 where ever you takes it,The Body is nice and straight,no accidents,no rust,new weather stripping on the doors.Little Imperfections like you can expect on a car that age.The Windshield has a small crack in the lower right corner but it doesn't bother e a bit.The original Dash has also cracks but there is a dash Cover over it is not noticeable .The car is my daily driver - it runs great on the freeway and it is a eye catcher wherever you take it.The engine sounds great - The undercarriage is all original with no rust - the car handles grea, just had new shocks installed all the way around. My mechanic said i maybe need some new ball joints in the future .This car is a California Car and never was out of stat, uilt in Van Nuys.
To make it absolutely clear - I built this car to enjoy driving it not to park it in a garage and trailer it to shows,so please expect some minor imperfections.The Bird on the Hood looks good but it also has small imperfections - if it bothers you buy a new on, ts a decal.
I would not hesitate to take that Car across country today - i love this car and i hope it finds a good home.The Car is currently registered and driven daily.
