Description of 1966 Pontiac Starchief Executive

1966 Pontiac Starchief Executive 4 door Hardtop. Just over 10,000 made. I've seen many 4 door sedan, but not many 4 door hardtops. 389 v-8. Automatic, ps, pb, am radio. Ran well. Was driven daily. Built on the Bonneville chassis, but trimmed like a Catalina. The body has rust in the quarters, and the rockers, also by the doglegs. The rear bumper has a rust hole on the left side. The vinyl top is almost gone. The interior is rough too. The headliner is bad and has mold on the seats. The glass is good. Good restorable steering wheel. Nice dash face. The floors are soft, and the trunk floor is bad. I can't get the car off the ground to check the frame, but I'm sure it's bad too. The body is straight. It was never hit. It has 131,000 miles on it. With the windows down and the floor vents open it's like being in a convertible. It's hard for me to sell one of my kids, but it needs to get help or to help someone else with a restoration. I can't locate the original title, but I will send to the state for a duplicate. If I had the moneyit would get restored, But I don't. This 19 foot long car came from Williams Pontiac- GMC in Boyertown Pa. new. The original owner had it for only 6 years then is was bought the ladies husband I bought it from. They drove it till around 1980 or so. It sat till I bought it, around 1990-91. I could get a floor jack to check the undercarriage if requested. I'm sure it's bad, but I'll do it if asked. A pretty unusual car.
