Description of 1965 Pontiac GTO

Okay time to sell... first $6700 walks away with the deal of the year.

I can alsoprovide a contact for transportation. Transporter, enclosed trailer, $1.35 per mile anywhere in the U.S.

NEW offerincludes Tri-Power(1965 manifold 9778818 & carbs).

I bought this car earlier this year with plans to restore but I haven't had a chance to starton this carother than clean andorganize all the pieces. This 1965 GTO is originally from Maine and I had ordered the PHS documentation prior to purchasing. The caris a real GTO,389, 4bbl,4 speed, power brake, and power steering car. The car has some rust on the bottom of the rear quarters and a small spot just behind the front fender and around the rear fender lip. The worst part is the around the front windshield but all areas are very reparable and the body is really straight. The prior owner replaced the front floorpans. The car comes with lots of chrome and trim pieces (bumpers, grill headlamp and tail light, dash, grill, etc...). The front bumper is a little rough but the back one is in good shape. Thetrunk, floor, and frameare ingood condition.

This is not the car's original color. The original color is Nightwatch Blue.

I can't remember the mileage off hand because the instrument panel is boxed up and I haven't got to it yet but I will update as soon as I locate it.I think it was around95K?
It also comes withmany of thematchingcomponents like 389 block, crank (not included), cylinder heads, rods & pistons, intake manifold (no carb or distributor),oil pan, timing cover, original Hurst shifter and other misc. pieces. Comes with transmission and bell housing, butno clutch pressure plate or flywheel. The transmission that came with the car isnot the correct one... I think its a 3 speed.

Car was purchased in New York. New York doesn't use titles like here in Ohio they only use registration which I do currently havefrom the previous seller to transfer ownership.

Can't find many real Pontiac GTOs anymore and this one is ready to be restored or just made into a great hot rod!

I do know of a gentlemen that transports hot rods for a living in an open or enclosed tag trailer. I do not make anything from this referral but if it helpsyou get your new hot rod home I will be happy to share his contact information with you. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and all arrangements.
