This is Mrs. Ruth's Baby. She bought it in 1969[October 9] and enjoyed it every day she drove it, Until she could no longer drive, In 2007.

It Always sat in the same garage.

My friend noticed the car for sale, and thought that it was so nice, he would fix the few visible problems, and enjoy the car.

He had the front fenders patched at the bottom rear, Using Ames Patch Panels[Metal].

He bought new Rear 1/4 Panels, and Repaired the rear wheel opening moulding flanges using the new 1/4's

He repaired one small hole at the Rt Rear corner of the vinyl top.

They stripped the car, and painted it with basecoat/clearcoat in the original pepper green.

They Installed new BFG Radial T/A Tires, Replaced most of the trim moulding, and replaced the Top.

Nice Car.

My friend has 2 Children, and did not use the car, for 2 years.I traded a few Items to him,and it was my car.I inspected the car,and found a few issues.

What I found was collapsed enginemount, Very slight radiator leak,Steering box seeping at output shaft,A/C Inop [ Leak], Rear Engine oil leak,Front Crank Seal Leak,Transpan leak,Out Put Trans Seal wet,Bushing loose. The radio wasinoperative.

We Replaced the Motor mounts,Replaced the Radiator [4 core replica of the Harrison],Replaced the water pump, All Hoses[GM Repo], Water pump, and thermostat. refilled the empty system using Evans Waterless Coolant.

Replaced the A/C Compressor, drier, expansion valve, muffler, and the condenser was replaced with the newer high swirl unit.Removed the POR valve, and installed pressure switch for cycling. We Converted to R134.Its very cold.

Replaced the dash speaker, and replaced the AM radio with AM/FM Delco.

We pulled the Trans, And lifted the Engine up.Removed the oil pan,Removed and replaced the rear main seal, and oil pan gasket, with parts from BOP.Reinstalled the trans using new mount.Pulled rear tailshaft housing, rebushed it,replaced the seal, and reinstalled it.replaced the filter, and pan gasket, replaced shifter seal, and speedo drive seals.

Replaced the Steering Box with faster unit from Ames.Replaced hoses.

Replaced upper ball joints, and upper control arm bushings, since I tore the boots for the upper ball joints!

Replaced front timing cover seal, and belts.GM Repro.

Replaced Spark plugs,Cap,rotor/wire set with Delco /AC Parts.

Replaced PCV Grommet,Valve/Hose. Removed intake, and valley plate, resealed, reinstalled after painting.

Replaced all 4 studs in theexhaust manifold flanges.

Removed valve covers, painted them, replaced the gaskets, reinstalled.Got new Grommet for breather tube.

Resealed the carb,cleaned,replaced theaccelerator pump.

Replaced both battery cables with OE style

Now the car performs very well.Does not leak fluids, and is tight, and nice to drive.

Still has the original T3 headlights.

We have the servicereceipts and inspection mileages,as well as a log of all repairs. We have a notebook of gas purchases.

The Original owners manual,Warranty Booklet, and Protecto Plate are here.

The underside is clean and I will post more pictures of theundercarriage .

I don t see many LeMans Sports, Haggerty says they only made 1600 in the 1970/1971productionseries .As you can see by the Window sticker,it was not a cheap car. I think that this car is a great driver/cruise night car.
