Rare:
2,000 25th Anniversary Trans Ams were produced in 1994 but only 128 had the 6-speed transmission. Of the 128 cars equipped with the 6-speed transmission, only 91 were also optioned with the T-Tops and CD player. Full production figures for the 25th Anniversary Trans Am are shown in the photos below.
Take a look on eBay on other places on the Internet and you will find several 25th Anniversary Trans Ams for sale, some with really low mileage. However, you will rarely see a 6-speed equipped 25th Anniversary Trans Am for sale, especially a clean, well maintained example, such as this one. The 6-speed manual is not only fun to drive, it will surely appreciate in value quicker than a comparable automatic equipped 25th Anniversary Trans Am due to the rarity.
Condition:
This car just turned over 19,000 miles but has never been driven in the rain, not even one time, since new. The car is not perfect because it has been driven, carefully, for 19,000 miles, so it does have a couple of very small chips on the nose, but if it were any nicer you would hesitate to drive it. The mileage on this car is low enough to look very nice, but high enough that you would not feel guilty to drive it for your enjoyment.
This car has always been garage kept and well maintained and has no modifications. Mobil 1 synthetic oil has been used on all oil changes. The front seats have always stayed covered with towels when I drive the car (note the condition of the driver’s seat in the photos and compare to other 25th Trans Am for sale). The driver’s side front floor mat is the only item that shows wear in the interior. Everything works properly as you would expect: A/C blows cold, all power accessories function properly, steering wheel radio controls work perfectly, engine runs as it should, and the transmission shifts perfectly. Although I never needed to use the wipers, I tested them recently and they do work fine.
The car still retains the original Goodyear GSC tires but they are well-worn and rock hard. So it is ready for its first set of replacement tires. I do have a set of 4 NOS Goodyear GSC tires that are available for purchase available separately if the new owner wants to keep this car all stock appearing. The special 25th Anniversary wheels have no damage or curb rash and are clean on both the front and rear (see pictures).
The car will include the original window sticker, both sets of keys and FOBs, mint owner’s manual portfolio (still in the mailing envelope from Pontiac), 25th Anniversary Press Kit, and other various items shown are included with the car.
Paint:
The driver’s side was scratched while the car was still in the possession of the first owner. The car was not involved in an auto accident but the scratch did penetrate through the clear coat of the paint so he stated that it required the driver’s front fender, driver’s door (only the portion above the side molding), and the driver’s rear ¼ panel to be resprayed. No panels were replaced. The paint in this area looks excellent and matches the rest of the car in both shade, texture, and shine. I am a very picky car owner and the resprayed areas were done so well that it did not prohibit me from buying the car.
Vehicle History:
I purchased the car in 2003 from the original owner with 8,964 showing on the odometer to compliment the other 25th Anniversary Trans Am 6-speed that I already owned. The car was purchased new in 1994 at Cunningham Motors in Lebanon, Tennessee at a price of $5,000 over sticker price due to the demand and rarity of the 25th Anniversary Trans Am with the manual transmission.
For the Buyer:
The successful bidder will need to send a small deposit within 2 days to confirm their commitment to purchase the car. If no deposit is sent, I reserve the right to relist the car on eBay or elsewhere. I can keep the car stored in my garage for a reasonable amount of time until the new owner can arrange to pick up or ship the car. I’ve tried to show and describe the car completely and accurately but I do welcome an inspection and a short test drive if you are a serious potential buyer. Feel free to ask any questions or request additional photos. I am located a short distance from the heart of downtown Nashville, TN and convenient to the Nashville International Airport (BNA) and three different major interstates (I-65, I-24, & I-40). When picked up, this car it will be very clean, have a fresh oil change, and a full tank of fresh premium fuel.
Extra Parts, Available Separately:
I have some 25th Trans Am parts that I will be selling after this car finds a new home. Some of the items I have include:
  • Set of four (4) new Goodyear GSC tires
  • Set of four (4) new white 25th Anniversary wheels with NOS center caps
  • Extra set of (4) 25th Anniversary center caps
  • Various NOS stripes (2 hood stripes, nose bird, wing decal, roof decal, LH door decal)
  • Set of GM repair manuals (mint condition because they have never been used or needed)
  • Various magazine articles and literature related to the ’94 Trans Am
