Description of 1962 Pontiac Tempest LeMans

This is the first time I have ever listed it. It has been my baby for the last 15 years. This car gets more attention than any of my other cars that I had as you just dont see them anymore. It has always been dependable but really havent drove it enough since I have gotten it painted and new interior. I will go over every little detail that I can think of so you know what you are looking at. You are more than welcome to come look at it in person or bring a mechanic. It has the rear chrome fins which I believe they say is the sport coupe. Tags are current with a clean title. I had the aluminum v8 engine completely rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago or so (car originally came with a 4 cylinder) including I put on headman headers.I had new weatherstripping on front and rear window, doors and trunk. I had the windows taken out for the new paint job then installed new weatherstripping and new felt on the windows. Many nos parts like the spears and other hard to find parts were installed. Custom aluminum air cleaner with new K&N air filters. Optima battery about a year ago.I spared no expense. I had it painted a few years ago including the door jambs and dash. (it does show some nicks and tiny bubbling in some places). All new seat covers, carpet, headliner, door panels were done. I started to put in idiot gauges where the radio was but never finished hooking it up (including green leds).New Alpine stereo, cerwin vegaspeakers in the doors, amp and subwoofersin the trunk. A new alarm system witha pager. It has 15" keystone rims (tires are mismatched so new ones would make a big difference) It has been lowered. What it needs is the gas gauge hooked up (was working when I took it into the shop a few years ago but when they installed my metal dash instead of the crappy cardboard one it must of gotten disconnected along with instrument lights) The turn signal lever needed a new switch so I just installed one under the dash but it is original and was nos so you can put it back the way it was if you want. I think it is the idler arm is what the mechanic said needs to be replaced as it tends to pull to one side when breaking. Finally the timing sounds a bit off since I just dont drive it anymore or it could be a carb adjustment as it takes a while to warm up
I described everything I can and not make the car sound perfect like most do. I hate to part with it but I just dont drive it enough. I can assist in shipping if you arrange the arrangements and they pick it up. I prefer you look at it first but that is up to you
