| Stk. 1964 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am This mostly original 1978 Pontiac Trans Am in Solar Gold (U) paint was produced in February of 1978 in (L) Van Nuys California according to its data plate. Nestled under its shaker scoop hood lays a genuine numbers matching original L78 Pontiac motor producing 400 cubic inches and 220 horsepower. An M-21 four-speed transmission with Hurst shifter connects to a factory limited-slip rear end to complete this well mannered driveline. Its Camel vinyl interior was redone in 2008 and contrasts beautifully with its classic black three-spoke steering wheel and machine turned dash. Optional amenities on this T/A include factory A/C AM/FM Eight-track tape player Power steering Power front disc brakes with rear drum brakes and original Snowflake alloy wheels wrapped in sticky 245/60/15 BF Goodrich rubber put the finishing touch on this wonderful Second Generation Trans Am.
